Today's photo is of a shrine we have in our room. It has many different things in it that means a lot to me. I chose this as my photo today because today is the 36 year anniversary of my father's death. The center of the shrine is his flag, it also has photos of him.  There is also things of my moms too, a pic of Michael & I, my high school diploma.  So this photo resembles a lot of my life.

This is a photo of my two nephews. They were suppose to be cleaning the back yard, but they told me that it was clean enough and showed me their skateboards. Elijah is the little cutie in the front, behind him is Damien and the puppy on the side is their poodle Precious. I love these two kids to death & their sisters. My niece's and nephews are very important to me.

My photo for today is of the necklace my aunt Kathy got me for Christmas. Since I haven't been feeling good still, I figured I would take a picture of something that has a deep meaning to it. This necklace represents Kidney Cancer And since we lost our mom to Kidney Cancer in April 09 my aunt got these for us to help us remember.

This was the first meal I was able to eat after 5 days of not being able to eat. I had a dental procedure on Dec,30, 2010 and I have been in so much and unable to eat. Needless to say I enjoyed this meal.

My photo for today is one of Michael. He is very important to me & these past few days he has been great. For those of you that don't know us, Mike and I have been together now for the past 5 years. We have had our ups and downs like any other couples, we have had a lot happen and we believe that it has all happened for a reason. I love him with all my heart, he is my best friend and my soul mate.  For most of you that don't know I had a few teeth pulled two days before New Years, and when it comes to the dentist I'm a big baby. But once again because I don't listen I end up in ten times the pain and Michael has been taking very good care of me. He has managed to deal with me bitching, he has been doing all the cooking, cleaning, and everything else that is needed to be done, even though he has a lot of his own shit to worry about right now.  Michael you are wonderful and I'm glad to have you in my life.

I thought I would start this project with a photo of Michael and I. With this fresh start of a new year, I'm looking forward to exploring and experience everything life chooses to throw my way. The past few years have been rough, but anything in life that's worth having isn't going to be easy. The more challenging it is, the more reward you will achieve in the end. Michael & I have been through a lot and our relationship is stronger now than it has every been. So I chose us for my first photo because he is very important to me. I wanted to start this project with a picture that to me represents the foundation of my life. I plan on having many more years of good memories and crazy adventures with him.
